This is a place where we celebrate the potential in every moment of time, every stitch of land, and in every living being. At Harmonic Farms three resources - time, land, and life - interweave to build symbiotic relationships that strengthen over time. The result is an encapsulation of Pura Vida, a life overflowing with connections to each other, to place, and to our inner selves. The overarching goal is to achieve balance, giving back to the land more than is taken. Inspired by ongoing research into renewable energy, we have incorporated sustainable building and living strategies into the core vision of Harmonic Farms.

An orchard runs east-west through the site, bridging the lower two parcels and forming the structural and conceptual spine of the site, maintaining agricultural activity is self-sufficient and self-sustaining. To encourage social interaction, community amenities nestle within the orchard including garden plots, organic farm fields, a field kitchen restaurant, a public park, commercial spaces, and a wellness center. The ideas of permaculture are applied across Harmonic Farms through the establishment of food forests, reuse of invasive trees for building material, conservation of energy through passive cooling, enhancement of biodiversity with habitat restoration, and the protection of fresh water and other resources.
