Anna Cich

Designer

Anna earned her Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley in 2022. While at UC Berkeley, Anna participated in the student chapter of ASLA and worked with her classmates to coordinate professional events and departmental lectures. Anna completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Carleton College with a double major in Studio Art and Environmental Studies. Her belief in interdisciplinary thinking and love of drawing and design led her to landscape architecture.

Originally from Minnesota, Anna’s childhood neighborhood got her thinking about how outdoor spaces can support day-to-day community, and mental and physical health. This theme found its way into her master’s thesis, which considered how sidewalks and city streets might better support social life and health. Anna loves working out ideas through hand drawing and modeling and enjoys the sometimes unpredictable translations between 2D and 3D. She is looking forward to learning more about plants, materials, and construction in the near future.
